Pro Fund Accounting can hide inactive customers. On the Customers menu item window, there is a drop-down field called Status. This will allow you to mark a customer as inactive, which will hide the inactive customer for any of the Payment Post or Invoice Post menu items.
The Limit button on the top menu bar will default to showing just the active customers. Clicking this button will allow the inactive customers to be displayed. Clicking the button again will go back to displaying just the active customers.
Now, when you are adding a new record to the Invoice Post or Payment Post menu items, the list of customers that appears will only display those that are active. This way you can mark a customer as inactive and Pro Fund Accounting will prevent you from posting a new invoice or payment to that inactive customer.
Setting customers to inactive can come in handy to reduce the number of customers that you see when using the Post menu items.
